Nikolaus gifts are small presents given to children in some European countries on the night of December 5th, the eve of St. Nicholas Day. These gifts are traditionally left in the children's shoes, which are placed outside their bedroom door or by the fireplace. The gifts are often small items such as chocolates, candies, fruits, nuts, or small toys. This tradition is a way to celebrate the feast day of St. Nicholas and to bring joy to children during the holiday season. **

No, Nikolaus was not a Turk. Nikolaus is a Germanic name, and it is not commonly associated with Turkish culture or heritage. Additionally, the historical figure commonly associated with the name Nikolaus is Saint Nicholas, who was a Christian bishop in the ancient Greek city of Myra, which is located in modern-day Turkey. However, he was not of Turkish descent, but rather of Greek ancestry. **

To play Nikolaus, you can dress up as St. Nicholas in a bishop's robe and carry a staff. You can visit children in your community, either at their homes or at a public event, and give them small gifts or treats. It's also traditional to ask the children if they have been good and to remind them to be kind and generous to others. Nikolaus is often accompanied by a companion called Knecht Ruprecht or Krampus, who may play the role of a mischievous or scary figure to remind children to behave. **

It is a tradition in many European countries for children to leave their boots out on the night of December 5th, and Nikolaus (St. Nicholas) fills them with treats. The gifts in the boot are meant to reward children for their good behavior throughout the year. This tradition is a precursor to the modern-day tradition of hanging stockings for Santa Claus to fill on Christmas Eve. **

The argument between Nikolaus and Galileo revolves around the nature of the universe. Nikolaus believes in a geocentric model, where the Earth is at the center of the universe, while Galileo argues for a heliocentric model, with the Sun at the center. Nikolaus criticizes Galileo's ideas as heretical and goes as far as accusing him of blasphemy for challenging the established beliefs of the time. Galileo, on the other hand, presents evidence from his observations through the telescope to support his heliocentric theory, leading to a heated debate between the two characters. **
